2027 Missions Trip Opportunities

Below are some mission trip opportunities that we are excited to explore in 2027. Maybe you would like to join us for one.

WHERE: Around Kerrville, TX

WHEN: March 8-12, May 24-28, July 26-30
TOTAL COST: $1,100
WHO CAN GO: 16 and up. Minors must have a parent go as well.
ACTIVITY: Opportunities include remodeling and rebuilding homes damaged by flood, supporting local initiatives that serve affected families (such as thrift stores), and working with partners to help alleviate poverty in the Texas Hill Country.

WHERE: Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic

WHEN: July 17-25
TOTAL COST: $3,000
WHO CAN GO: 14 and up. Minors must have a parent go as well.
ACTIVITY: Visiting and helping interview sponsored children from across the country and working with key volunteers in the program who make Children of Promise possible in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

WHERE: Budapest, Hungary

WHEN: July 24-August 3
TOTAL COST: $1,800
WHO CAN GO: 18-28
ACTIVITY: Working with the local church in an English language camp for elementary or middle/high school students.

WHERE: Fredonia, KS

WHEN: October 11-15 (Over Fall Break)
TOTAL COST: $1,100
WHO CAN GO: 14 and up. Minors must have a parent go as well.
ACTIVITY: Working with the elderly, home repairs, serving local stakeholders, helping host block parties, upgrading or serving from a local downtown outreach center, and other activities in Fredonia, KS.

WHERE: Guatemala City, Guatemala

WHEN: October 11-15 (Over Fall Break)
TOTAL COST: $1,600
WHO CAN GO: 14 and up. Minors must have a parent go as well.
ACTIVITY: Possible home building, connecting homes to plumbing, VBS, and other projects related to the local school.

Interest Meetings

We are hosting interest meetings for these trips.
This is a no commitment opportunity to hear about the trips, ask questions, and consider options.
Here are the times for the meetings:

Wednesday November 18 at 5:30pm in the sanctuary.
Sunday November 22 following worship in the chapel.
Wednesday December 2 at 5:30pm in the sanctuary.
Sunday December 6 at 10:00am in the chapel.
