Preparing For Advent

Today we are bombarded by the sights and sounds of Christmas as early as the first week of November with radio stations, advertising, special activities, and programs. This may seem harmless and enjoyable,…but often lost in the merriment is the true meaning of Christmas. For many, Advent is a foreign concept lost in the hustle and bustle of Christmas. Many churches do not recognize this sacred Christian tradition while those who do, fail to explain it in a meaningful way. Join with us each Sunday during this season of Advent, November 29th – December 20th, as we celebrate the first coming of Jesus and anticipate his promised return.
