Moving Up

Any 6 year olds (incoming first graders) can now start staying in worship with their families and joining the Kids Connection group when dismissed by Pastor Jim!

Summer Challenge

5th & 6th Grade only! Come out when kids are dismissed and grab your sermon note guide, head back in to service and fill it out. After service is over, bring it to Pastor Andrea to redeem for candy. All turned in notes will go into a basket for a large prize drawing at the end of the month!

Jungle Journey VBS

July 6th-10th, 6-8:30PM
VBS 2026 is almost here! Join us for a Jungle Journey as we adventure and discover that God is with us through every twist and turn. We accept kids completed Pre-K (must be potty trained) all the way through 6th grade. Nursery (3 & Under) is available for volunteer children only!

What we're learning

June Focus: Foundations of Faith
Foundations for Faith is designed to teach kids what we believe and why. These sessions cover core teachings that come from the Bible.

Week 1

Foundation 1: The Bible is God’s Word and His plan for me. God gave people the words to write so we can know Him. The Bible is completely true and is the final authority on what we should believe and how we should live.

In this session, kids will discover that the Bible is God’s message for each of us. God inspired more than forty writers to communicate His message, and every word is true. The Bible shares that God’s plan for our life is knowing and obeying Him.

Week 2

Foundation 2: The one true God has always existed and always will exist. He showed himself to us as the Creator of heaven and earth and the One who saves us from our sins. God has shown us that He exists in three Persons—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

In this session, kids will discover that we worship the one true God. He has always existed and will always exist, and He is our Creator. Our one God is revealed to us as the Trinity: the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit. The Bible shows us how much God loves us and wants a relationship with us.

Week 3

Foundation 3: Jesus is God the Son. The Bible tells us that He was born to Mary, a virgin, and His Father is God. Jesus never sinned, and He did many miracles. He died on the Cross for our sins and came back to life. Now He is in heaven with God the Father.

In this session, kids will discover that Jesus is not like anyone else who has ever lived. As Thomas declared after Jesus came back to life, Jesus is God. He has always existed. His earthly birth, life, death, and resurrection were all for a special purpose—to bring us back into right relationship with God the Father. One day Jesus will return so we can live with Him forever.

Week 4

Foundation 4: God created people to be good, but everyone has sinned by disobeying God. Sin separated people from God and caused death—both in their body and spirit.

In this session, kids will discover that ever since the first man and first woman sinned, everyone has sinned. The Bible says we have all disobeyed God by doing wrong things just like Adam and Eve did. The good news is that God made a way for sinners like us to have our sins forgiven through Jesus, who died on the Cross for our sins.
